The Transfer Pak had a slot for a Game Boy Color cartridge and a part that was connected to the expansion port of the Nintendo 64 control. It is considered the predecessor between the connection cable between the GameCube and the Game Boy. The Transfer Pak appeared for the first time included in the game Pokémon Stadium, being as main characteristic of the game the power to import the Pokémon equipment of the titles of Game Boy. Pokémon Stadium included a mode called "GB Tower" to play Pokémon Red, Blue or Yellow on the N64 through a Game Boy emulator that included (which included the unlockable modes "Doduo" and "Dodrio" which increased the processor speed of the game by 2 and 3, respectively). It was originally planned for the Perfect Dark being able to unite with the Game Boy Camera and map the photos taken by the camera on faces of Perfect Dark characters. This feature was discarded. Instead, when the "Perfect Dark" version of Game Boy joined the N64 version through the Transfer Pak, you could unlock a transparent suit that could be used at any time, an R-Tracker to search for weapons. Hidden in one phase, Hurricane Fists (fists hurricane) that allowed to hit very hard and a trick that gave you access to all the weapons of the game, including the double weapons and the classic. In fact, it is not possible to play the Game Boy games on the N64 with the Transfer Pak, as was possible with the Super Game Boy on the Super Nintendo.
